Building a house, even a tiny one, is a huge undertaking. Throughout the process we know we will have help and inspiration from sources we can’t even imagine, and some we can. This page is where we want to recognize those kind souls and businesses who help us out along the way. We will keep updating as we get help along the way.
- Family. We have some of the most supportive family on the planet. They have supported our plans to move across the world (twice), skydive, and now build a tiny house. They may shake their heads and wonder at us, but they are always excited to hear the details and ask how they can help.
- Friends. Our friends are just as supportive as our family, in fact, we consider most of them family that we chose. Whether through moral support or hands on support, we have an awesome group of friends behind us.
- Mike Watson at Pacific Architectural Products. Mike answered many questions about a phase change material product called Biomat PCM that Travis had heard about and wanted to see if it was applicable to a tiny house. He connected Travis with the manufacturer’s engineer and gave us a good deal on the material. He was just as excited as us to try this product out in a tiny house application.
- Rob Mandzij at Iron Eagle Trailers. Iron Eagle Trailers comes highly recommended by the folks at PAD Tiny Houses, so we decided to check them out. Upon further research, we learned that Iron Eagle has been refining trailers for tiny houses for several years now. When we had the pleasure of meeting Rob, we knew we’d be buying our trailer from them. He took the time to answer our many questions and explain the reasoning behind their tiny house trailer designs.
